Privacy Statement for our Patients

NoTube.at is committed to respecting and protecting the privacy of its visitors. This Privacy Statement will describe the information that we collect from our users, the ways to update your information, and how we keep your information private and secure. Future changes to our privacy statement will be announced on the website at least one week prior to the effective date of the change.
Because this website wants to demonstrate its commitment to your privacy, it has agreed to disclose its information practices and have its privacy practices published. This website has agreed to notify you of:

  • What personally identifiable information is collected from you through the website
  • The organization collecting the information
  • How the information is used
  • With whom the information may be shared
  • The kind of security procedures that are in place to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of information under NoTube.at control
  • How you can correct any inaccuracies in the information.

If you have questions or concerns regarding this statement, please send an eMail to support@notube.at. At any time when a user contacts NoTube.at to make a query, suggestion, or comment, the user will not be subject to receiving any communications other than the response(s) to the initial question or comment, unless specifically requested by the user (e.g., no user will ever be defaulted into receiving any secondary or promotional material as a result of the contact).

I. Personal Information
This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the NoTube.at website. The only information obtained by this website about individual visitors is information that is supplied voluntarily by those visitors. When becoming a registered member of this site, users are asked to provide personal information about themselves and their family.

Required information consists of:
(1) eMail address
(2) Password/Confirmation
(3) Name of the mother
(4) Name of the father
(5) Name of the child/patient
(6) Type of therapy program you are interested in

Information entered into your profile will be provided to our physicians and nutritional psychologists in order to give your child the best as possible treatment.
Furthermore, on some pages you can meet with a licensed physician and engage in online therapy, coaching or counseling services whereby your child’s medical and psychological data will be collected for therapeutic purposes only.
All data collected by the questionnaires in your personal area is integrated into a research program (EAT-DOC) which has been set up to evaluate our work properly and correctly. Please be aware that absolutely no personal information of your child or yourself will be collected other than in an anonymized manner.

All personal information is otherwise private, and will not be made available to any external party, company, other user of the website, other person, or other entity in general, without the express consent of the user. The staff of NoTube.at access user information only for legitimate or authorized administrative purposes.

Though we make every effort to preserve your and your family’s privacy we may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on our website. If someone's life is in danger, our staff may choose to report it. This applies to potential cases of suicide or homicide.

II. Cookies
A cookie is a small amount of data, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier, which is stored on your computer's hard drive. Each website can send its own cookie to your browser if your browser's preferences allow it, but (to protect your privacy) your browser only permits a website to access the cookies it has already sent to you, not the cookies sent to you by other sites. NoTube.at's cookie usage is not tied in with any personally identifiable information.

NoTube.at uses cookies to:

  • Store your user ID on your computer, to allow an integrated login to the personal area. This cookie is stored only while your webbrowser is open and is removed when you close your webbrowsing software.

III. Security Procedures
NoTube.at uses strict security measures to safeguard your privacy.

  • All users, including patients and staff of NoTube.at, are required to login to access the site's main functionality and services.
  • No personal data is stored on the website. Only your eMail address and your passwort are stored in a secure database. 
  • Users are automatically logged off of their accounts after a timeout period has been reached.
  • NoTube.at does not allow users to automatically save (or cache) login information onto their computers (although a user's webbrowser may provide such an option that is beyond our control).

IV. Updating and Reviewing Your Personal Information
You may update your eMail address and password in the "My Account" section found at the top right corner of the website. Because we do everything we can to keep your information confidential, your personal information like the parents and the patients name is not accessible online.
In order to update your personal information please send an eMail to support@notube.at from the eMail address you use for logging in containing your child’s first and last name, date of birth, and the information you want to change, and we will promptly change your personal information.
Furthermore, staff members with access to any user information must read and understand this privacy agreement, and are subject to immediate termination in the event that they violate it in any manner.

If you want to un-register from NoTube.at completely, please send an e-mail to support@notube.at containing your child’s first and last name, date of birth, and the de-registration request, and we will promptly delete your profile from our records. However, please be aware that any professionals with whom you have begun a therapeutic relationship through this website will still have your information in their personal records.

If you forgot your password, please use the “request a new password” link you can find under the log in form.

V. Public Areas
Any information that is posted within public areas like comments in our news section may be seen by third parties and is not controlled by NoTube.at. Any links to a third party from our site is not subject to our policy. Please refer to the privacy policies on each of these sites before entering any information about yourself.

VI. Payment Information
If you choose to register for one of our therapy programs at NoTube.at you can transfer the necessary amount of money to the bank account stated in the eMail you get after registration. Payment via credit or check card will be available soon.

VII. Log Files
NoTube.at maintains log files which collect visitor information pertaining to a user's visit on the NoTube.at website. These log files contain statistical data used to analyze traffic patterns, specifically the user's Internet Protocol (IP) address, the date and time of the visit, the file requested by the user, the size of the file requested by the user, the status of the request (e.g., whether the request was successfully served by our webserver software), and the referring URL which generated the request. This data is not tied in with any personally identifiable information and is used in aggregate form only.
